District Information

The Waterlin Stewardship District is an independent special district located in Osceola County, Florida, with a specific purpose of providing comprehensive and responsible long-term development and management of approximately 5,960 acres of land. The district is governed by a five-member board, initially elected by landowners and transitioning to election by qualified electors as the population grows. The district is empowered to provide a wide range of services and infrastructure, including water management, utilities, roads, transportation, environmental conservation, recreational facilities, and economic development, while being subject to Osceola County’s comprehensive plan and development regulations. The district coordinates with the Tohopekaliga Water Authority.
